Kevin is First Gears Senior Instructor. Kevin has been part of the First Gear family for over 4 years and has assisted in leading hundreds of students to pass their P’s test., in both Auto and Manual vehicles. Kevin is a very relaxed driving instructor and will tailor a driving program to suit each students skills and learning style. Kevin is available depending on availability from 5.00am to 9.00pm weekdays and weekends. He is highly sought after so we recommend booking in asap.

Hi. my name is Joanne. I am a fully accredited Keys2Drive Instructor which means I can offer you a deeper understanding and a better education around the safest way of learning to drive whilst having fun and a laugh along the way. This programme will help you to become a more confident and proactive driver. Learning and understanding these skills is the best way of keeping you safe whilst learning to drive.
My aim is to educate you and provide a peaceful, calm, relaxed environment to learn in. I am passionate about helping you to feel safe and confident on the road. In my spare time, I am a volunteer support person with a local organization. I believe it is important to give back to the community, so I help out where I can.
I absolutely love being an instructor and I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your driving goals.

Yvonne is another one of our lovely automatic instructors with First Gear School of Driving. Yvonne is a mother to two teenage boys and understands how important it is getting your P’s and independence. She is down to earth, friendly and extremely patient. Yvonne has a passion for teaching and mentoring, but more importantly would like to provide you with not just driving lessons, but what it means to be an excellent, careful driver and road user.
Yvonne drives a Holden Astra Sedan which will provide you with lessons to be able to confidently operate any size vehicle. Your lessons will also be in line with your personal needs and development. Yvonne is reliable and committed to providing you with mentoring, guidance and safe lessons. First Gear has had nothing but positive feed back from all students/parents who have had the pleasure of being taught by Yvonne.

Kevin is a Frist Gear automatic instructor located in Ormeau. Kevin is our after hours and weekend instructor available 5pm-8pm Monday – Thursday and most weekends from 8am. Kevin has been a part of the First Gear team for over 2 years and has helped a large number of our students complete their 10 night driving hours.
Kevin services Gold Coast Central/North. As Kevin is our after hours instructor he is not available for test bookings.

Gemma is our operations manager at First Gear, she is located in our head office and is always available via email, text and phone to assist you with all of your queries.
